Squarespace + Chrome = not always best friends

Sometimes the Squarespace editor goes a bit frazzled in Chrome. For example, if you try to insert a block, it doesn't work. Or perhaps you try to apply a style to some text, and it doesn't take. This is a recent thing, so I am hoping that Squarespace sorts it out - but in the meantime, Firefox seems to work fine without these niggles.

AARGH! I can't get the text / content editor to do what I want.

Although LayoutEngine (the Squarespace drag & drop content editor) is powerful, the darned thing can be fiddly to use, too. Especially when it comes to Text Blocks.

I always insert a Line Block whenever I want to split text blocks and move things around. Then, when I'm done moving stuff, I just delete the Line Block.
